So, the remodel of 1965 was of course with the Latin Mass.KevinGHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16323690012097813222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9437006.post-46355710738880718322016-02-27T17:54:55.550-06:002016-02-27T17:54:55.550-06:00Is there more artwork of Estelle RECAR SELLERS RUL...Is there more artwork of Estelle RECAR SELLERS RULO online? beautiful!
as is this information and photos. The vandal smashed some stained glass windows, the St Stephen statue, angel statues and generally tore up the place. I was so saddened to hear of this. It is probably an example of a small parish running on a meager budget and the work of some volunteered labor and material. Perhaps in its own way a truly Catholic act!Kestrelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11643316680350255931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9437006.post-73005112864690543612007-08-05T13:55:00.000-05:002007-08-05T13:55:00.000-05:00I've noticed that many renovations dating from aro...I've noticed that many renovations dating from around 1965 were not as radical as those done later; in fact, the few places that have done spirit-of-Vatican 2 renovations quite lately are the most outlandish of all. Paneling like this seems to have been popular in the 1960s, I've even seen an altar covered in it.

There is no altar rail visible in these photos, and I don't recall seeing any.Mark S. Is that correct? Also, is it missing the communion rail?

-- YoungCatholicSTL
(www.youngcatholicstl.blogspot.com)YoungCatholicSTLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08742831059018218047noreply@blogger.com
