Novena to the Immaculate Conception at the Oratory

From November 29th to December 7th, a Novena to the Immaculate Conception will be held at Saint Francis de Sales Oratory, in Saint Louis, Missouri.

The following is from the Oratory bulletin; click on the image for a larger version.

The Novena precedes the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on December 8th, a Holy Day of Obligation.

The Masses will be held at Our Lady's Altar at the Oratory, and will include many prominent homilists, including His Grace, the Most Reverend Raymond Leo Burke, Archbishop of Saint Louis, on December 7th.

Under the title of Immaculate Conception, the Blessed Virgin Mary is patroness of the United States, and that title has a long history in our land; even the Mississippi River was named by the first European explorers as the River of the Immaculate Conception.

  1. I hope that if you're going you'll take notes and post what was said in the homilies.
