  2. Michael and Mark please don't take this personally but when I first saw that picture earlier today I thought to myself....why did Mark include a photo of a "baptist" church on his webpage....it is the most un catholic looking church I have seen on this website! forgive me

  3. Hehehehehe. You are forgiven! True, Colonial Revival is a most unusual style for a Catholic church.

It is a nicely made, quality church, and I like to show a little variety here. Also, it is a consecrated, holy place, the dwelling place of Our Lord in the tabernacle, where His sacrifice on Calvary is re-presented on the altar, and where His people come to worship Him.

However, I am all for distinctly Catholic, symbolic, catechetical, and traditional architecture.

  4. Oh, and I thought that it was a fairly good photograph, too. But that is my pride showing!

  5. where two or more of us gather in his name! Again I did not mean to offend and sense that I have not in fact. The beauty of the Churches of the St. Louis Archdiocese is remarkable and I appreciate your photos Mark. I have the Zell landscape photo as the desktop on this computer! I would love to see you include the church at St.Genevieve and St. Marys Missouri also.... Mark now from Indiana but always from Missouri in my heart!!
